WHO'S MY BABY?

(video date 11/24/07)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We surely enjoyed ours. We simply relaxed all day then headed over to mom and daddy's for a delicious dinner. We had a mini vacation. Brett was off Thursday - Monday! I really got spoiled having him home. He feed Mag almost every meal, got her naps, bathed her each night, made me coffee every night, put the lights on our tree, hung the outside lights, cleaned out the garage, cleaned out my car, changed our oil, and then asked what else he could do to help me! What a man! Monday, we took Mag to school and then he took me to breakfast at City Cafe. Maggie and I are so blessed to have him as a husband and father. (Thanksgiving 2007)

There's no better way to work off a huge dinner than with a rousing game of "Ball in the Hall." This game originated in 1997 and was invented by Harrison, myself, and Oscar, our beloved family dachshund. Mag wanted to join in but quickly retreated to safety because this competition was just too violent. FYI, I am still undefeated. (picture date 11/22/07)

"Stop biting your nails!"

Clownin' with my boy.

Mags called Aunt DeJuana before dinner to coordinate their outfits.

"And what would you like for Christmas, Little Girl?"

Check out this group! They don't appear to like each other at all!

My sweet little family.

Hayden noticed that the plant behind Brett's head made it appear as if he had dreads. Hey, that rhymed!

Doesn't Mag look cute in Harrison's toboggan? Brett thought she looked like a boy! "Shame on you Daddy!"

HAPPY 33RD BIRTHDAY BRETT PAUL!

Saturaday night the whole group went to Buffalo Wild Wings for the final night of Brett's birthday celebration. After dinner, everyone came back to the house to hang out and let the old man enjoy some cookie cake. Not quite everyone made it in this picture. Some of them had snuck outside and Hilary stepped up and was the photographer. (picture date 11/17/07)

We had our family birthday dinner for Brett at mom and daddy's on Friday night. Spaghetti...everyone's favorite. Brett's parents and David, Harrison, and Hayden were able to come. DeJuana was off cooking for one of her many events. (picture date 11/16/07)

"Flair those nostrils, Maggie B."

I love my kiddos.

David and DeJuana got Brett a musical card. Maggie loved dancing to "Super Freak." I think Hayden did too.

This particular group of friends try to have dinner or a get-together at least every month or so. However, we never fail to miss our November meeting. Johnna's birthday is November 6th, Laurie's is the 17th and as you know, Brett's is the 18th. This year, we dined at Olive Garden. Happy birthday to all of our November birthday buddies! DID YOU GET ALL OF THAT?

She knows exactly what she is saying. I just wish I could figure it all out. I wanted to get more of her jabbering but she was too distracted by Brett's tap dancing. (video date 11/11/07)

A BIRTHDAY FILLED WEEKEND

Thursday was David's 38th birthday. We all went to dinner at Mugshots. I had my camera in my purse but Maggie was ready to leave right after we ate and I forgot all about pictures. I guess you don't do too many of those when you get to be his age anyway. Ha!

Friday was Chad's 31st birthday. The whole group went to Wing's for dinner and then went bowling. Chad's getting there but is not quite as old as Dave and can still stay out late.

Happy birthday to both of you guys!

As my daddy would say, "what a motley crew!"

Awww, brotherly love.

MY LITTLE MAN, SAGE

This is Alexis' baby, Sage. I just love the hair. Isn't he a cutie? I need to start a ticker for the countdown for when they come home for Christmas. I'm so excited to see them.

"Let's get physical, physical." Lex said that this is his 80's workout attire.

ALEXIS, SHANE, AND SAGE / THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS

Yes, people, this is my best friend. She has always been a very free spirit. I think she met her match though when she married Shane. As Hayden said... "that baby is gonna be weird!" You gotta love 'em though. I do.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween Everyone! As you can see, Maggie was Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz." She is holding her little basket up to show you that Toto is in there. We all went to our church's Fall Festival. We had a really good time but unfortunately, I didn't get really good pictures. Most of the pictures are either of Maggie trying to get down from someone's arms or of her back while she's running away. She ran around all night, mostly chasing balls. Her favorite part was the duck pond station. We had a hard time keeping her out of the water. (picture date 10/31/07)

"Thanks so much for my dress Grandmother. You did a great job. It was just perfect and should have been. You made adjustments 6 or 7 times! You should really work on your OCD."

When I picked up Hayden from school yesterday, she asked me what I was going as. Her little face looked so disappointed when I told her I wasn't dressing up. So, I called Alexis and asked her to come up with something within an hour. What can I say, I'm a cool aunt. So, with my choices being limited to what I already owned...she suggested a cowgirl or a box of cereal. As you can plainly see, I chose cowgirl. This is me and Mag with our friend Dedi and her tiny daughter Zoey (a giraffe).

I had to put this picture on here. Jase was Jim, from "The Office!" I knew Johnna and Laurie would appreciate that. We love Jim! Brett looks pretty excited about it as well. Should I worry?

Maggie was playing ball with her older friends. That's Rachel on Maggie's left.

Harrison went all out with his costume. (sarcasm) In his defense though, he didn't find out until yesterday morning that all the youth who were working at the festival had to dress up.

Hayden was a Japanese something-or-other. At first, Mag definitely wasn't sure about letting her hold her because she couldn't figure out who she was, understandably.

This is Maggie, eating a fish, with her friend Jake...I mean Superman.
