JANUARY 13th...WHAT A BIG DAY!

January 13, 2010, our sweet surprise, Mary Brooke was born. 

All smiles from the get go.

Cubbiest baby we have had.  So she became "Big Fat Mary."

And the bluest eyes I'd ever seen.

She quickly earned the name Little Heifer.

 

Maggie has always been the caregiver.  She adores her babies.

Mac has so much fun with her.

That usually means they are finding trouble.

Honestly, we thought we were done.  It's funny how we didn't realize our family was incomplete until this baby girl arrived.

Happy 2nd birthday to our climbing, fit pitching, toilet diving, toy slinging, adventurous, loud, fearless, messy, carefree, larger than life, Mary Brooke!  She adds so much joy and exhaustion to our lives.

And January 13th is also the birthday of another one of my favorite girls.  My Laura Hayden turns 14 today! 

There is no one more appropriate than this pair to share a birthday.  They are definitely two peas in a pod.
