HAPPY EASTER

"Wow! Look at all the loot!"

We took some pictures in the church parking lot with such a lovely background, don't you think?

"I'm tired. I think I'll just relax now with a good book."

We put one of Brett's t-shirts on her in case of a few spills. If you think about it, this whole hiding eggs thing is a pretty strange concept. Mag just went with the flow as if to say, "I'll look for colored eggs scattered about the yard and then put them in a basket if that's what you really want me to do." (picture date 3/22/08)

"It must be magic!"

"Thanks for all of the help, Daddy, and for being patient when I splashed dye in your face."

Her favorite thing to do was to crack the eggs on the floor and then peel off the shell.

Look at the little discolored fingers.

"Why did you people give me such a heavy flippin' basket? Geez!"

"Got one!"

"I still don't know why we are doing all of this, but whatever."

THE BARNYARD

Maggie and I went to "The Barnyard" with Aunt DeJuana, Hayden, Presley and a couple of other friends. It was strange for her to see all of the animals in person and not in a book. Her favorite was the huge turkey that hollared everytime you walked by him. Mag would go to his cage and "gobble" right back at him. Not any different from our church picnic, she carried a graham cracker around for much of this trip. (picture date 3/21/08)

"Aunt DeJuana and Hayden showed me that it was okay to pet the baby chick."

Yeah for Maggie! She wasn't sure about this at first but after we petted and talked to Whiskey the pony for a few minutes she took a little ride.

CHURCH EASTER PICNIC

Maggie had such a good time at our church Easter picnic. You may notice a cookie in most of the pictures. That is because she carried it around with her all day. (picture date 3/15/08)
