WHAT A DIFFERENCE TWO WEEKS MAKE!

Maggie has the greatest personality and the best laugh. She loves her new running legs and really gets excited when her Daddy is chasing her.

WHERE ELSE DO YOU PUT A MAGPIE WHEN THERE'S LAUNDRY TO BE DONE?

WHAT A GROUP

Everyone was supposed to make silly faces in this one. Hayden and Veronica follow directions well. Not to sound ugly but, Mag doesn't look overly intelligent in this one.

We had such a good time while Robby and Veronica were here. It is so much fun watching all the kids together. Mag tried her best to keep up with the big guys. I know she enjoyed seeing them. I'm sure they will all be close.

I'm so delighted that Maggie absolutely loves the water. Harrison is one of her favorite buddies, as if you can't tell by the smile on her face. This swimming trip, we had to keep her out of her lily pad because she kept drinking the water.

Yes, I zoomed in on this from the group shot.

Brett and Hayden were pool pals who spent the whole time doing tricks in the water, one of which was the shoulder stand. When I did one, she informed me that my bootie was jiggling. Thanks Hay.

BOYS AND THEIR CHILDREN'S TOYS

I just thought this one of David and Brett was funny. It made quite a picture when Brett went zipping down the street on Hayden's electric scooter with his MaryKate and Ashley beach towel draped over his shoulders blowing like a cape. Not exactly the caped crusader.

Cousins Robby and Veronica came from Las Vegas to visit for a few days. They are such cuties. Robby is very gentle and soft spoken and Veronica is wide open. Robby was very protective of Maggie but Veronica wasn't quite sure what to think of this little kid who kept taking her toys. Within the first five minutes of them all being together, Maggie reached for something Veronica was playing with and Veronica pushed her down. She then looked at me and very sadly said, "Did you see that...she fell." Hilarious.

A LITTLE WOBBLY IN THE MORNINGS

I don't know who is shakier, Mag or me with the camera. She has problems walking in pj pants because she steps on the bottom of them. It is amazing the difference one week has made since she took her first step. Yesterday, she was all over the place. Her head leans forward and she tries to let her feet catch up. It's so funny to watch. It's looks as if she is running. Aunt DeJuana taught her the "roll tide." Of course, that thrilled her daddy.

Mag was very impressed with Harrison and Hayden's dance skills and was graciously applauding them.

We were so thankful for the rain. Bless her heart, Mag has only seen rain a hand full of times.

4TH OF JULY

Brett and I were both off work for the 4th so the three of us got to spend the day together. We slept late that morning and in the afternoon, we went to eat at our friends, Chris and Shannon Miller's house. After leaving there, we went to Landon Shelby's mom, Frankene' s house. And of course, we ate there also. She put out quite the spread. As always, all of the girls were gathered around Maggie in the living room, when TADA...she took her first step!!! Everyone screamed and scared her silly. After calming down, she walked several times. She's not even 10 months old yet...Yeah Mag!!! Brett and I thought it was pretty neat for so many people to be able to see her walk for the first time. That and the fact that we had witnesses. Maggie is the first baby in the group and everyone adores her. We are never lacking for a sitter and we really appreciate them. We have wonderful friends. That reminds me, I need to get a picture of Alexis' fat and pregnant self on here. She is due to have baby Sage on August 7. If he actually arrives on that date (which he won't), he and Maggie will be exactly 11 months apart.

Maggie is always entertaining. She was so excited to see that cute baby in the mirror mimicking her every move.

Maggie attended her first non-family birthday party last Saturday. It was for her friend from church, Jackson. We swung by and picked up Hayden to go with us. In case you are wondering how Hayden got so dark, it's because she's been to the beach about a billion times already this summer. Maggie's pale self glows next to her.

KICKED BACK CHILLIN'

Maggie B had a ball (no pun intended) at Harrison's 12th birthday party last week. She found that it was quite relaxing to just lay back and float.

OFF SHE GOES

Maggie thought she was hot stuff using Harrison's old Pooh lawnmower.

FINALLY

It was finally warm enough to swim. She loves the water. Mom lets her swim naked everyday in her little, bity pool on the deck. She does however, occasionally tee tee in the water but a little tee never hurt anyone.

TOO COLD TO SWIM

Me, Maggie, and Harrison
(picture date 6/2/07)

This was going to be Maggie's first time swimming in the big pool but the water was just too cold. Harrison and Brett went ahead a dove in like dummies. Mag and I just watched from the side, warm and dry.

MESSY GIRL

This was Maggie's first encounter with prunes!

A FAVORITE

This picture is about 4 months old but a favorite of mine. That is Grandpa's little cat hat upside down on her head.
