MAG'S FIRST BEACH TRIP

My Aunt Wanda and Uncle Larry let us use their place at the beach so we could take a trip the "Ramsey" way. We had an awesome weekend! Mag was an absolute doll and a wonderful little traveler. We couldn't have wanted her to be any better. We are so grateful that we were given the opportunity for the three (almost 4) of us to have a mini-vacation. She looks a little bit like Elton John here, don't you think? (picture date 6/13/08)

She kept wanting to feed the seagulls. She would chase them and say, "I catch you!" One did swoop down and almost swipe the chip out of her hand.

Brett was building a sand castle and Maggie said, "I do it" and came over and sat on it. Later, she took her little shovel and poured sand down the back of Brett's bathing suit.

"I was so thirsty!"

When she first went to see the ocean, the waves came up and covered her feet with sand. That was that. She liked looking at it but didn't want to walk in it anymore. She was perfectly content just playing on dry land.

Brett taught her how to play putt putt. She would hit the ball once, then go pick up and put it in the hole. That's my kinda golf! She did get a ligitimate hole-in-one though with a little assistance from her daddy.

I think the highlight of her trip was seeing Henry the Octopus. He's from "The Wiggles", of course, and there was no need for her to know that that was not actually him. She waved and said "Hey Henwee...Bye Henwee" each time we passed him. I told Brett that I wanted to name our son that just because she says it so stinkin' cute.

Apparantly, I pointed out too many times to her whenever we passed a boat on Canal Street. She would beat me to it and say, "Big boat, Maggie."

Brett was trying to teach her to lean back with her arms behind her head.

POTTY TIME

Mag was in the bathtub and told Brett that she needed to poopy. He popped her out and she really just needed to teetee. She did it in the potty for the first time and said "I hear it." (picture date 6/12/08)

AND MORE SWIMMING

If I'm going to keep taking swimming pictures, I'm going to have to get her a new bathing suit. This was her first time in the big pool this year. I think she liked playing with Mommy in Aunt DeJuana's big bathtub more though. (picture date 6/6/08)

MAGGIE'S 1ST HAIRCUT

I was so pleased with Maggie's patience during her first haircut. Mrs. Deanna (she does my hair too) let her sit in my lap. It didn't hurt that I had brought Grumpy Bear along as well. It was also in our favor that Mag is pretty vain and likes to look at herself in the mirror. (picture date 6/4/08)

When we got through, she spent quite a while counting out all of Mrs. Deanna's hair doolollys to her.

MORE SWIMMING

I know, I know, she gets that from her momma. (picture date 5/31/08)
