After the pumpkin patch, we did some playing on the trampoline.
Static, anyone?

And after playing, we went for a little stroll in Downtown Northport AKA Mayberry.

She wanted to pose with a tree in one of the shops. Notice her earring. Yes, earring, singular. The other one broke.
Mag took this pic and did an excellent job.

MAGGIE & MAC'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

With Maggie's b'day being September 7th and Mac's being September 25th, why not have a joint party?! Also, we have learned to not even try to plan parties around football games. So, this year, we opted for August 28th. It was awesome. With almost 60 folks in attendence, it was a big ole time. We had two bouncy things, a bouncy thing water slide, they kids' new swing set, and their new trampoline. Perfect set up for a 4 and 2 year old. We just let them run. It was a mixture of themes as well. Princess stuff for Mag and Charlie Brown for Mac. I do think they enjoyed themselves.
She insisted on wearing her Halloween costume for portions of her party. Of course she needed to wear it to great her guests.

Our sweet little Linus.
Sarah has always done our cakes because she's amazing. As if you couldn't tell. She's actually on her way to film Food Network's "Cake Challenge" as I type.

Mac's favorite things. Anything with wheels!
Maggie's favorite things. Princesses.
Only a portion of the food. Seriously, about half.

This was the first party that Harrison has missed. He had some sort of weird illness that only old folks get. I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. (thinking, thinking) Shingles!

Right before the big crash. We didn't know to put the weights on the side. Franke fell off when it toppled. He was okay though. But, this had been used many a times & didn't make it back to it's owners, the Sodergrens. One too many holes.

The new swing set that my mother insisted be up before the party. So, instead of setting up the night before, me, mom, dad, & Brett were assembling a swing set in the rain. The rain got too heavy, however, so we had to move everything out from under the patio & put it together there. I got to bed around 1 am. Great idea!

It's always so embarrassing when everyone stares at you & sings. We didn't even try with Mac. His b'day was a month away anyway.

The Needhams. Look at Matt getting in the Charlie Brown spirit.

Fat Mary had all the fun she could take.

Everyone helped open presents. Needless to say, this was the very first time that I didn't send Thank You notes. Sue me.
