Mac's tree was decorated with little snowmen.

MAGGIE'S VERY 1ST ON-STAGE PERFORMANCE

Maggie was old enough this year to be in her school's Christmas performance. They sang four songs, with motions. This is the first day. Maggie did well. She didn't cry or run around. She very politely picked her nose. I'm glad Uncle David came on day two. He has taught her to use two fingers at a time. My little booger picker is the 5th child from the right.(picture date 12/16/08)

Afterwards, she just wanted to ride.

This is day two. She did much better this time. There was minimal mucas excavating. She was fascinated with baby Jesus, however. She kept turning around looking at Him. She did the same thing some on the first day as well. Afterwards, Grandpa took her to see Him. Baby Jesus had a baby's body but a full head of hair. No wonder it got her attention. That is her best friend, Addie, on the left.(picture date 12/17/08)

"What's with all the cameras?"

She's keeping an eye on Trent. He's the one on the very end. Everyday, when we get to school, he runs to the door yelling, "There's Maggie...she's here!"

Now, where's that baby Jesus?"

"There He is."

CHRISTMAS CAROLING

We took the 4-Ever Praise team caroling at some nursing and retirement homes. Maggie came along to help. She really seemed to enjoy it. For weeks after that, we would pass one of the places that we went and she would say, "I rode on the big bus and sang there and handed out candy canes!" (picture date 12/13/08)

Our bus driver for the day.

"Okay, I'm ready."

Here, Maggie is helping Hayden hand out candy canes to some of the residents.

I think that this one is too sweet. It's a shot of them walking through the halls, singing.

INSEPARABLE

This is not in the correct spot in the time line but I got from someone else and it was in another file. I'll fix it later. This pic is one of my favs! This is one of my very best friends and I at our 10 year high school reunion. We had my 33 week prego self out on the dance floor. I'm sure you're not surprised. "I love you, Dale!" CHRISTMAS CARDS...TAKE 539,488

"You're doing such a great job, Mac!"

"This picture is a winner. Now, let's try and get one with you and Maggie."

I give up.

DICKENS DOWNTOWN

For those of you who don't live here, Dickens Downtown is when they close off the streets of our quaint little Main Avenue area and have a community gathering. They have carolers, animals, food, and other festivities. Brett and I try to make it each year. Even though Mag missed her nap on this day, we went anyway. I think she liked it even though she was in an ill frame of mind. She also didn't care to be bundled up like the kid on "The Christmas Story." (picture date 12/2/08)

"What's going on here? Why is this goat trying to get stuff out of my stroller?"

"I don't care that his name is Chester and that he is friendly. I still don't want to pet him."

"What the...it doesn't snow here in Alabama...

...and snow is not suppossed to burn your eyes."

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2008

Maggie made her outfit at school. In case you couldn't tell, that is her tomtom on the floor. She made that at school as well. They had a feast of vegetable soup and chicken nuggets. Hehe. I wasn't aware that little Indian girls wore pink heels.

Mac's little shirt says, "Gobble 'til you wobble."

CHECK OUT THE SMILE ON THIS SWEET BOY

Little Mac has to be the sweetest baby I have ever seen! Maggie was a sweetie but a booger. This little guy just goes with the flow and nothing bothers him. He is just like his daddy and Mag is just like her mama. We're in trouble. Don't get me wrong, Mag is the most loving little girl but has a very strong spirit. It's just a nice change having this well-tempered little guy around. (picture date 11/21/08)

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY BRETT PAUL

Maggie, Mac, and I are so blessed to have a husband and father like this man. He is definitely one of a kind and we love him dearly. He is such a caring, loving, husband and the most attentive daddy I know. He loves his family with all of his heart as we do him. We are never in need of laughter around this house either. His one liners and lack of shame keep us in stitches. On the flip side though, God has used him to be a strong spiritual leader of this house. I am so proud to call him my husband and the father of my children. Happy B'day Brett Paul. We love you.

Daddy with his kiddos. Maggie has war paint on her face because this was one of the days that they were studying about pilgrims and indians at school. Brett met me to go pick her up and we heard her singing, "Happy Birthday To Daddy" through the door. Such a cutie.
