Mag made these for friends and family and I had them laminated. We took one to Gladys and J.B. They loved it and sent us a note that it was hanging on their refridgerator. They are just two of the sweetest people. Mrs. Gladys just celebrated her 95th birthday. They got married when they were in their teens. Such an awesome example of a strong faith-based marriage.
Ornaments the we are working on for our senior friends. I'll show you the finished product...when it's finished. Mag is my first child so I don't know but isn't her coloring pretty impressive? I'd like to thank Claire Hocutt for being the queen of coloring. Each time Mag is working on something she says that she's trying to be as good as Claire.
Seriously, isn't that good for a four year old?
Miss Thang's attitude was slightly out of control. So, I started a chart system. She did well so she got a prize. I thought this may be bribery but Jamie Thomas said "nope, positive reinforcement."
She picked out Cinderella that dances to Christmas songs.
Mag hand print from 2008 and Mac's from this year. Mrs. Janet at Northport, Baptist Dayschool is the bomb-diggity. One of those few and far between teachers. Been teaching the two year old class for 24 years.
Just a really cute booty.
Pretty self-explanatory. I particular like "butterflies and more butterflies" and "rice" that was retracted because she actually doesn't like it.
Mary's 1st Thanksgiving. With her being a January baby, I keep forgetting all of these are firsts for her. This pic should have gone after the wreath. Whoops! Outta order. I warned you about that. "No, you're outta order! This whole courtrooms outta order!" Wait, no it shouldn't. We did that before Thanksgiving. Never mind.
The beautiful wreath that my husband made. He got so into that but told me not to tell. Oops. He did a great job. We stole this idea from MaryKathryn Mathews. You should friend her on FB and follow her blog. So much crafty info and just too funny.
Maggie's Snoopy Thanksgiving dinner that my mom made for her. Popcorn, toast, and jelly beans. All that was missing was the pretzels. If you don't know what this is about, shame on you. Go watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I know that holiday is over but really, you should. Why did spellcheck flag "Thanksgiving?"
