JUST STOP CAUSE IT'S TOO MUCH! - PHOEBE

My babies are getting too big...too fast!  With everyone starting school today, I'm so grateful for overdue babies.  Looking back, I don't mind having 40, 41, and even a 42 weeker.  Two of which were in September.  Talk about H.O.T.  My baby girl is about to turn five but misses the cut off by seven days and momma is so glad.  Things are changing too quickly as it is.

And, it just hit Brett this morning that Harrison will be a senior next year.
OH MY GOODNESS!!  MY BABY!!!!
Ohhh, I can see myself at his graduation now.  Please, don't let me run up on stage with that boy!  And, if Harrison will be a senior, that means that Hayden will be in high school!
It's not today, not tomorrow, it's a while away.  I must take slow, deep breaths and settle down.

Friday, Mag and I worked on putting Macman a big boy bed in his room.  Maggie worked so hard vacuuming the mattresses.

He was no help at all.

Neither was she.

We stopped for a little modeling show.  BTW, the only reason she's wearing shorts...I bribed her.  She wasn't happy about it either but I'M TIRED OF DOING LAUNDRY!

Why does this remind me of Sammy Davis Jr.?

And dancing.  So much fun is had when you just throw some mattresses on the floor.

Perfect.  Mag and I worked tirelessly moving those mattresses and putting that bad boy together with two little moving obstacles to maneuver around.

The bed, mom found on FB Garage Sale - $40
Mattresses, been in storage and belonged to my nephew Robby - $0
Bed skirt and fitted sheet, Walmart - $18
Top sheet (CARS), Stacey - $0
comforter, Robby's - $0
McQueen and W pillows and blanket, gifts - $0
Total =$58

Watching him sleep in it for the first time =priceless
(I'll let you know when that actually happens)

*Correction*
Mom sold the mattress and boxspring that came with the bed for $25 making the grand total for everything...$33.

Mac didn't want to get on.

Mary loves it though.

Sunday was the last day in Sunday School before promotion.  I can't believe it.  For the first time in 5+ years, I won't have a baby in the nursery or one on the way.
Happy place... happy place... go to my happy place.

Jake had just tried to kiss her, btw.

What a fun class this is!  Hate that Maggie is leaving Mrs. Emily and Mrs. Jamie but glad for Macman to be moving in.

"All M's...shift one door to your right."

And, Maggie is reading!!  So proud of this big girl.  She just wants to learn and learn fast.  Wonder if it's an oldest child thing.  She's been trying hard for a long time but is really on the move now.  She gets so excited sounding out the words in her bible and telling me about the stories that she's learned at church.

If any of you are in the market for a new children's bible, I highly recommend this one, "The Beginner's Bible."  Like Mrs. Emily says, the kids are just drawn to it.  If you don't know Mrs. Emily, you should.  She is one in a million.  Works non-stop, seriously, on children's lessons and has been doing so for...I don't know...40+ years?  She and Mrs. Janet at NBD are on my list of top two best children's teachers ever.  Well, in all honestly, I have add my mother to make it a top three list.  She is perfectly content to spend hours on end just teaching a little one.

Hope everyone is having a great first day at school!  We won't be heading back to Northport Baptist until the 22nd.  So, we have about two weeks to get these youngins' back on school schedule.
